The Beta Beta Lambda Alpha Education Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 is the non-profit charitable arm of the chapter, which focuses on scholarships for young men in the community, programs, activities, training and development of the membership. The honors and scholarship functions of the Education Foundation encompasses the implementation of Go-To-High, Go-To-College, Project Alpha, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. Programs, Knights of Gold and FosterCare Mentoring programs. The chapter’s Director of Educational Activities has oversight of all planning, development and implementation functions of the Education Foundation.

Since its inception in 1995, the Education Foundation has provided more than $75,000 in scholarships for more than 100 young men attending various institutions ofhigher learning. Many of the young men that apply for the scholarship has a great need for assistance with tuition or other needs to successfully attend and complete
college.
